Sonicare
Electric Toothbrushes
On
this page, we will be talking a bit more on
the Sonicare Elite; of it's
strengths and its weaknesses.
The sonicare toothbrush uses Superior Cleaning Technology by using
powerful cleaning to reach hard-to-reach areas for better plaque
removal between teeth.
This electric tooth brush generates high frequency bristle
motion and high amplitude, creating dynamic cleaning action that forces
fluid deep between your teeth and along the gum line. The way it
brushes the teeth is gentler than a manual or an oscillating
toothbrush. The power of dynamic cleaning action with the specially
designed bristle orientation, results in deep cleaning of hard to reach
spots. Sonicare achieves its bristle velocity through a combination of
high frequency and high amplitude bristle motion.
It includes a larger and smaller brush. The smaller brush is useful for
people with small mouths.
For the first 14 uses, to help you get used to an electric toothbrush,
it gradually increases the power over the 14 uses. Like Oral-B's more
expensive electric toothbrushes, the Sonicare Elite e9500 also has a
timer. Many of the reviews found are positive, but some people say that
the rubber cover on the on-off button has a tendency to break.
"I
have researched the
Sonicare toothbrushes and found the best value to be this new model, I
am very happy with it. I read all the reviews for the other models,
held them in my hand at the Department store and found the only
difference between this and the higher priced models is in the style of
the handle and the fancy lights showing the remaining battery life.
Also
the Elite models have
the beep every 30 seconds during the 2 minute timer. This model has all
the features I need: Easy reach brush(Uses same replacement heads as
the Elite models), 2-minute timer.
Since
these things only last
a couple of years anyway, what's the sense of spending another $30 or
more for features you don't need to clean your teeth. Buy this
toothbrush and use the money you saved to buy replacement heads."
